I joined in early 2019, after several years at another local gym. I subsequently joined the TPC Adult Program in early 2020. I have benefited from the regular, structured exercise focus and the classes have led me to be able to maintain an active life style into my early 60’s and hopefully well-beyond!
I can think back to the early struggles of getting through the Adult Program workouts as they were more intense than any previous workout routines I had done. In particular, a regular focus on core and flexibility training have been beneficial as I have had fewer lower back issues since starting the program.
I’ve had a couple extended absences (Covid in 2020, ankle injury 2023) which caused restarts but have always had great support from staff and classmates to find needed modifications and adjustments to continue with the program.
By participating in the TPC Adult Program, i just need to show up as the workouts are designed by staff. Participating in an instructor led class helps to maintain proper form and pace. As an empty nester, my primary preferred class is 5:30 pm., but will flex to the early morning or midday classes on occasion.
The camaraderie of the TPC Adult Program participants is encouraging and motivating. We get through some tough workouts together!
