Neuro Fitness is a program designed to provide low-impact movement options for individuals living with Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury, POTS, Functional Neurological Disorder, and other neurological conditions.
Participants will safely engage in various exercise modalities with goals of developing strength, balance, mobility, and community.
Rotating 8-Week Modules include once a week sessions in the following formats:
• Functional Exercise
• Yoga
• Pilates

The Functional Exercise Module will focus on aerobic, strength, neuromotor, and flexibility work. All exercises are programmed to be done in a seated position with modifications for standing.

Pilates exercises are practical and target the proximal muscles of the core. This is a low impact, easy to modify movement flow. It facilitates the correct muscle engagement with breath, increasing muscle strength, creating flexibility and improving balance for walking.

These exercises provide the framework to understand neurological challenges. They are designed to help with balance, gait, weakness, spasticity, and foot drop. Harness the power of the brain-body connection through sensory input and use practical strategies to improve and maintain functionality.
8-Week Session Cost: $70 for members; $99 for non-members
Individuals will be evaluated to determine they have appropriate physical and cognitive abilities to participate independently in a group setting.
