Justus is a former ACHA D1 hockey player at Illinois State University and served 4 years active duty in the United States Marine Corps and is currently serving in the Marine Corps Reserves. Justus has coaching experience at coaching adults and youth, as well as extensive expertise in strength and conditioning, particularly with D1 athletes in football, volleyball, soccer, softball, golf, and women’s basketball at Illinois State. Justus has also developed tactical strength and conditioning programs for Normal Police Department, Bloomington Police and Fire Departments. His coaching experience extends to Bloomington youth hockey and Illinois State hockey, where he continues to make an impact.
