Here are my top 3 tips when buying frozen:
- Buy whole foods like chicken breasts or thighs, salmon filets, fruits, and vegetables to avoid getting extra ingredients like sugar, saturated fat, and sodium.
- Skip fruits and veggie options that have been frozen in syrup.
- Skip the sodium. Look for words like “low or no sodium.”
