Whether you have small kids waking you up at the crack of dawn, grown kids that enjoy sleeping in, or it’s you and your spouse- Christmas can rightfully throw off our normal routines. Sometimes, that can even lead to crankiness from lack of proper nutrition! Spread the Christmas cheer with a healthy breakfast this Christmas. If you won’t have a meal until lunch, try having healthy finger foods around that you can enjoy while opening gifts! Foods like fruit, hot chocolate made with a cup of milk, or oatmeal muffins can provide energy, satiety, and nutrition to happily get you and yours through the day.
