Trainer Tip Tuesday: Lat Pull Down and Low Row
How to do a proper Lat Pull Down and Low Row – with Coach Allie and Coach Michael
The pull motion is a tricky movement but is one of the most important for posture, mobility, and overall fitness! Here are a couple tips to help fix your pull motion!
For the lat pull down your hands should be wide, body is slightly leaned back, and the bar is pulled to the middle of your sternum (logo on your shirt). Focus on squeezing your shoulder blades and hands toward your sides.
For the low row your elbows should be just off your sides, shoulder blades pinched, and back straight. While staying upright try not to let your shoulders overextend and roll forward.
