Trainer Tip Tuesday (Dietitian): Healthy Banana Muffins
Did your bananas go old? Instead of the age-old tip to make banana bread, try some healthy banana oatmeal muffins!
You’ll need:
1 cup ripe bananas, ½ C. peanut butter, 2 eggs, 2 TBSP honey, 2/3 cup milk of choice, 1 tsp vanilla, 2 cups oats, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp cinnamon, ¼ tsp salt, and you can add 2/3 cup dark chocolate chips if desired!
Mix the wet ingredients together, and then fold in the dry ingredients.
Bake on 350 for 20-25 minutes for about 12-15 muffins.
